It was finally the day of reckoning for the combined New Directions and WMHS football team, all of whom parked in various spots around the block around the Karofsky household. The group was crammed into the family living room, just beyond the front door, waiting for their classmate to arrive.
"Alright," Rachel called out in an annoyed voice, seated between two football players, "whoever has their gargantuan foot on mine had better remove it!"
The boy to her right awkwardly moved his foot. He had sandy blonde hair, brilliant green eyes hidden by glasses, tall and built. Rachel looked at his face; he was obviously uncomfortable being where he was.
Before she could say anything, David's father walked through the front door, the football player right behind him.
David froze with groceries in his arms as he noticed the huge crowd in his home, his face blanching.
"Please," Blaine came from the other room, dressed in his normal Dalton Academy uniform, "take a seat, David."
"David," Dr. Karofsky came back from the kitchen, taking the bags from his son, "you need this more than you think."
Karofsky trembled, then tried to break for his room upstairs. Kurt and Blaine had though of everything, making sure there were guys on the stairs to be sure David couldn't get away.
The boys on the stairs brought Karofsky back down, and forced him into the only open chair in the middle of the living room. Dr. Karofsky was right behind his son, placing a hand on his shoulder.
Azimio was the first to step up. "Dude, you shoulda just told us what was going on," some of the football players nodded their heads, feeling uncomfortable. "We would've accepted you either way, cuz, well, you're one of us."
There were various "yeah"s through the crowd, and Finn stood up to speak.
"Plus, Kurt was once one of the guys on the team," he gestured to his step-brother, "and when you picked on him-"
"-and threatened his life!" Rachel interrupted.
"-you messed with the football team, and the glee club-"
"-and the A/V club-" Artie said.
"-and the Asian community-" Mike and Tina spoke in harmony.
"-and all the Black community-" Mercedes scowled.
"-and the Cherrios-" Quinn, Santana, and Brittany hadn't said a thing. Sue Sylvester, Coach Beiste, Will Schuester, and Emma Pillsbury appeared out of nowhere.
"-and the teachers of the school," Schue got the last comment.
At this point, David was already nearing tears.
The boy next to Rachel was trembling, seeming more and more uncomfortable. Under her breath she asked "Are you okay?"
He closed his eyes and nodded, clenching his fists.
David put his palm to his face, begging for everyone to just leave him, though no one moved but Kurt.
He put his hand on David's shoulder, crouching down to see his face. "It isn't easy, David," he plastered on a sympathetic look, "believe me, it wasn't hard for me, either."
Dave looked up, eyes puffy from holding back tears, "Why are you trying to help me, Humm-" he thought for a second, "Why are you trying to help, Kurt?"
Kurt smile sincerely for a moment, "Even though you attacked me and threatened me, you're still in a tough place, so you need as many people supporting you as possible."
This time, David was actually crying, and stuttered out "C-can I m-m-maybe get a hug of s-s-something?"
Kurt looked back at Blaine, then went ahead.
And the hug was awkward, but comforting. He knew then that there wouldn't be anymore threats, and there might be new friends because of it.

Kurt woke up the next morning, sun shining through his window. He furrowed his brow in confusion; why weren't the curtains on his bed closed? He felt the bed shift beside him and looked down to see Blaine curled up around one of his pillows. Oh. Oh. That's right; they'd fallen asleep like that, hadn't they?
"So, Kurtsie," Jeff said from his bed on the other side of the room, making him jump.
"Did you get laid?" Nick asked.
Kurt sighed, gently getting out of his bed so he didn't wake Blaine and going to his dresser. He chose to ignore them both as he grabbed a fresh set of uniforms and some undergarments. He walked straight for the bat

"Oh, hello Headmistress," Kurt lifted his gaze from the parchment paper he was doodling on to look to the front of the Charms classroom. Professor McGonagall was standing with her hand on the shoulder of a short boy whose hair was slicked back with way too much product. Kurt couldn't help but realize, as he continued his gaze downward that the boy pulled it off much better than Professor Schuester. When he reached the boy's hazel eyes, Kurt froze. He looked so nervous, and he was blushing from being put on the spot, but his eyes. Kurt felt like he was going to get lost in their warm hazel color. When the Headmistress began to speak again, he

Over the month week Kurt watched Blaine become more and more comfortable at Hogwarts. He was the type of person that made friends easily, that was obvious, and so by the end of the first week it was already like he had been here since first year. Kurt was a bit envious over how easily Blaine could gain friends; how none of them seemed to care he was gay like they did with Kurt.
"You're staring again, boo," Mercedes said from beside him, causing Kurt to snap out of his thoughts.
"What?"
"You were staring at him again," Mercedes repeated, "Something's bugging you."
Kurt waved her off, "It's nothing, 'Cedes."
She raised an eyebrow, but di
